Privacy Policy

TextMyPlans turns calendars into schedule summaries that users can preview and send to approved recipients. This policy explains the information we handle and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication identifier, plan, preferences, time zone, approved recipient names and mobile numbers, carrier selections, delivery settings, and service activity. We also receive security information such as login time, IP address, device information, and authentication results.

Connected calendars

When you connect Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 or Outlook, or Apple Calendar, TextMyPlans reads the calendars and events you authorize, including event titles, start and end times, locations, notes, meeting links, calendar names, and invitation status. We use this information only to create your requested previews and schedule deliveries. TextMyPlans does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.

Google user data

TextMyPlans requests the Google Calendar read-only scope. Google user data is used only to provide schedule previews and digests requested by the user. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it for unrelated purposes. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Authorization and token storage

Google and Microsoft provide access and refresh tokens after you approve access. We encrypt stored credentials and use refresh tokens to maintain the connection without repeatedly asking you to sign in. Apple connections use an encrypted app-specific password. You can disconnect a calendar from the member portal at any time. A provider may also revoke access because of account, password, or security changes.

Recipients, SMS/MMS consent, and delivery

We use approved recipient names, phone numbers, carriers, time zones, consent preferences, and detail preferences to route schedule messages. TextMyPlans may send transactional SMS/MMS calendar schedules, calendar-change alerts, and appointment reminders only when the applicable messaging option has been enabled. Message frequency varies according to calendar activity and user settings. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS/MMS consent records and phone numbers are used to provide TextMyPlans messaging and related service operations, not third-party advertising or promotional marketing.

Billing

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive identifiers, subscription status, plan, renewal, and payment-status information needed to operate your account. We do not store complete payment-card numbers.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, connect calendars, generate previews and attachments, deliver schedules, administer subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, maintain security logs, and improve service reliability.

Sharing

We disclose information only to service providers needed to operate TextMyPlans, such as hosting, authentication, calendar, billing, email-delivery, and mobile-carrier services; when required by law; or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We retain account settings and connected-calendar credentials while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Operational and security records may be retained as reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service integrity. Disconnecting a calendar removes its stored connection. You may request account and personal-data deletion by emailing admin@textmyplans.com.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted credential storage, secure cookies, access controls, and limited calendar permissions. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may review or change recipients and delivery settings, disconnect calendars, revoke provider access, manage your subscription, or request deletion. You may also revoke Google access from your Google Account security settings.

Children

TextMyPlans is not directed to children under 13. Adults are responsible for any recipient or schedule information relating to children that they choose to provide.
