Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TextMyPlans. By creating an account, connecting a calendar, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

TextMyPlans reads authorized calendars, creates schedule summaries and images, and sends them to recipients selected by the account holder. Features and limits depend on the selected plan. TextMyPlans is a convenience service and is not an emergency, medical, legal, transportation, or safety-notification system.

Accounts and authorization

You must provide accurate information, protect your account, and promptly report unauthorized use. You authorize TextMyPlans to access connected calendars using the permissions you approve and to refresh that access in the background. You may disconnect a provider at any time.

Recipients and consent

You may send schedules only to people who have agreed to receive them. You are responsible for the accuracy of recipient phone numbers, carrier selections, time zones, groups, event details, and delivery settings. You must promptly remove recipients who withdraw consent or no longer require access.

SMS/MMS Terms

TextMyPlans sends transactional calendar schedules, calendar-change notifications, and appointment reminders by SMS/MMS only for recipients enrolled in the applicable messaging feature. Message frequency varies based on calendar activity and selected notification settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS/MMS messages. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS/MMS messages is not a condition of purchasing TextMyPlans. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

You may not use TextMyPlans for spam, harassment, unlawful surveillance, fraud, unauthorized access, harmful code, service disruption, or messages that violate law or third-party rights. You may not attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, or delivery throttles.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically at the displayed interval until canceled. Prices, recipient limits, groups, and included features are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may manage or cancel billing through the member portal. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not ordinarily create a refund for a current billing period, except when required by law.

Calendar and delivery providers

TextMyPlans depends on Google, Microsoft, Apple, email providers, hosting services, and mobile carriers. Their availability, permissions, filtering, delivery timing, and terms are outside our control. Messages may be delayed, reordered, filtered, truncated, or rejected. Always verify time-sensitive plans in the source calendar.

Changes to events

A digest reflects calendar information available when it is generated. Later event changes may not appear until a new preview or digest is generated. You are responsible for confirming current event details.

Service availability

We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Expired or unpaid subscriptions may pause calendar processing and delivery while preserving access needed to renew or manage the account.

Intellectual property

TextMyPlans and its branding, interface, and software are owned by TextMyPlans or its licensors. You retain rights to information you provide and grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for missed appointments, incorrect calendar data, carrier failures, third-party outages, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, abuse, security risk, unlawful conduct, or material violation of these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as TextMyPlans changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions may be sent to admin@textmyplans.com.
